Department Private Client

We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join our Private Client department in Oxford. You will be joining a team of other experienced secretaries, providing support to a busy department which includes a Barrister, solicitors and tax advisors.
With several years of experience of working in a similar role you will also have experience of working in a Private Client department, with knowledge of the full range of matters including probate, Wills, trusts, estates, LPAs, etc. A good knowledge of the legal environment and the flexibility and willingness to learn are essential. Being an experienced legal secretary, you will have a fast typing speed and audio typing skills but this is a varied job so you will also undertake a range of administrative tasks related to the client work and more generally. You will be able to use your initiative, communicate confidently with the fee earning and support staff and use discretion at all times. This is a vital support role for the team and requires someone with the ability to take on responsibility and to work collaboratively to ensure work is completed accurately and to deadlines.
You must be a team player and also a self-starter with the determination to complete the work to a very high standard. You will be working in our Oxford office.
