New Solicitor: Anna Casey-Woodward

We are pleased to announce that Anna Casey-Woodward has qualified as a Solicitor and has now joined our Private Client Department.

Anna joined the firm as a paralegal in March 2014, and completed her training contract with us in December 2016.

Anna has a Law degree from the University of Exeter, having gained a first for her dissertation entitled “Offending Grace: Femininity, Criminality and Society” and completed her Legal Practice Course in Oxford. She is currently studying for the examinations of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP) and developing her understanding of probate, trust and taxation matters.

She assists clients with a range of matters including Will drafting, tax planning, drafting and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney and trust administration. She also has a strong knowledge of income tax matters and assists in the preparation of annual income tax returns for both trusts and individuals.

Anna is a strong communicator whose aim it is to make the bewildering world of law a little easier to navigate. She enjoys getting to know people and knows that a good relationship helps when times are tough.

In her spare time Anna enjoys baking and knitting, and this year is challenging herself to the Macmillan Cotswold Mighty Hike, two triathlons and a sportive!

We are delighted to have been able to offer Anna the opportunity to complete her training with HMG LAW LLP and to progress her career with us.  We are committed to supporting learning and development throughout the Practice and look forward to working with Anna as she establishes her new role.
