A team from HMG Law set out last Monday to brave the miserable, rainy conditions on a 10km circular walk around Oxford – all in the name of charity! Our trek took us along swelling canals and muddy fields, then back through the centre of Oxford. Despite the weather some of our team members seemed keen to extend the walk, after making off in the wrong direction!
Our spirits were not dampened though, as throughout the walk we had the constant enthusiasm and boundless energy of Mac (the dog!), our occasional office visitor and hopeful HMG mascot.
We were also driven forward by the good cause behind the event. All funds raised went towards local free legal advice charities. The event itself, organised by HHJ Jo Vincent, is run every year, and is a fantastic way to help the vulnerable and those who cannot afford to pay for legal advice access justice.
