We offer fixed-fees on our wills to make the process for you as clear and transparent as possible.
Information on our Services
TIER 1 - STRAIGHTFORWARD WILLS
A single Will for an Individual
The price is based on a total time of 2.5 hours required from taking instructions to the signing of the will. If the actual time spent exceeds this, we reserve the right to charge extra at an hourly rate for the extra time required up to the signing of the will.
£400 plus VAT
(discounted price £300 plus VAT if you also instruct us to prepare a Lasting Power of Attorney)
Mirror Wills for a Couple
£600 plus VAT
(discounted price £500 plus VAT if you also instruct us to prepare a Lasting Power of Attorney)
TIER 2 - MORE COMPLEX WILL
A single Will for an Individual
The price is based on a total time of 5 hours required from taking instructions to the signing of the will. If the actual time spent exceeds this, we reserve the right to charge extra at an hourly rate for the extra time required up to the signing of the will.
£800 plus VAT
(discounted price £700 plus VAT if you also instruct us to prepare a Lasting Power of Attorney)
Mirror Wills (for a couple)
£1,000 plus VAT
(discounted price £900 plus VAT if you also instruct us to prepare Lasting Powers of Attorney)
TIER 3 - COMPLEX WILLS WITH TAX PLANNING
If your affairs are extremely complicated, the price will depend upon your particular circumstances. The cost will be charged on an hourly rate on the basis of time taken. Your solicitor will provide you with a detailed costs estimate at your first meeting but as a guide, typical costs for this type of Will are:
A single Will for an individual:
£1,500 – £2,500 plus VAT
Mirror Wills (for a couple):
£3,000 – £4,000 plus VAT

There is a court fee payable to the Office of the Public Guardian on registration of the LPA of £82 (no VAT payable) for each LPA. An LPA must be registered with the Office of the Public Guardian before it can be used, whether or not the donor has capacity.
Please note we reserve the right to charge an administration fee of £30 + VAT to cover the cost of archiving the papers in the file at the conclusion of the matter.
